The Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP), the voice of the chiropractic profession, celebrates today the enrollment of Texas Chiropractic Association (TCA) in Group Membership. This impressive level of support enables the F4CP and its active doctors of chiropractic (DCs) to work toward its mission: positive press for chiropractic. “Through Group Membership, TCA’s members have access to campaign deliverables that will help to further educate patients and residents of their local communities about the benefits of chiropractic care,” says Jeff Jenkins, executive director, TCA.
Mediterranean Diet could save your brain, study finds

A Mediterranean diet that's loaded with fresh vegetables, fruit and the occasional drink could help preserve your brain into old age, It's the latest in a series of studies showing that a healthy diet can preserve health, including brain health. This study, published in the journal Neurology, found that people in their mid-70s who ate a Mediterranean-style diet lost less brain mass than people who ate a diet more typical of their native Scotland.
D’Youville names new president

The D’Youville College Board of Trustees has named Lorrie Clemo, Ph.D., as the new president of the College. Clemo will succeed Sister Denise A. Roche, Ph.D., a Grey Nun of the Sacred Heart, whose 37-year tenure ended with her retirement on June 30, 2016. Clemo, on leave from her role as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA) at the State University of New York (SUNY) College at Oswego, is currently directing the First in the World Program.

Northeast Ohio Academy of Chiropractic improves the chiropractic law in Ohio

The Northeast Ohio Academy of Chiropractic was successful in improving and clarifying the Ohio chiropractic scope of practice with the passage of House Bill 276 (HB 276). The NOAC is a volunteer organization that was established in 1969. The primary objective of our organization is to protect chiropractors rights to practice. HB 276, sponsored by Representative Kirk Schuring, was passed unanimously by both the Ohio Senate and House.
