You can set your own practice growth goals based on how your clinic is currently performing and how much you want it to grow in the future. Collect together the data you currently have along with any marketing statistics, patient enrollment numbers, and other information you have before starting your benchmarking. From there, you can set specific quantitative and qualitative goals to guide your practice's expansion or maintenance.
What the MIPS final ruling means for DCs and value-based healthcare

Recently, the Office of the Federal Register published an update on MIPS along with changes that will impact valued-based healthcare and providers who accept Medicare Part B reimbursements. These changes were announced in response to public comments about the proposed MACRA regulations. Generally speaking, this final ruling attempts to address the concerns of small practices and clinicians who are unsure about MACRA's changes and how to participate in reporting.

AECC achieves 100% of students in employment or further study

Recent results of the DLHE (Destination of Leavers from Higher Education), showed that 100% of Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (AECC) students were in employment or further education six months after completing their course. In memoriam: John Fiore, DC

John W. Fiore, DC, inventor of the ground-breaking Back-Huggar lumbar support cushion and founder of Bodyline Comfort Systems, passed away November 29, 2016, after a brave battle with cancer. He was 85. Fiore – known affectionately to his patients as “Dr. John” – made several important chiropractic contributions during his career, which spanned six decades. He was a pioneer in the use of ice therapy to diminish chronic pain and inflammation, and advocated its use throughout his lifetime.

DEA classifies CBD oil as a Schedule I drug

Effective January 13, 2017, the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) has ruled that cannabinoid (CBD) extracts are Schedule I controlled substances, placing them on a par with restricted substances such as heroin or LSD. This should come as little surprise, given that the DEA has long listed marijuana as a banned drug with “no currently accepted medical use and a high potential for abuse.”
