TCC, Texas A&M enter educational partnership

Chiropractic Economics April 15, 2010

April 14, 2010 — Texas Chiropractic College (TCC) and Texas A&M’s Biomedical Sciences program (BIMS) entered into an articulation agreement, which was signed April 5, 2010 at Texas A&M’s College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences.

This agreement serves to facilitate the admission and academic transfer of students from BIMS to TCC and will ensure a seamless transition of BIMS students seeking a Bachelor of Science degree while at the same time pursuing a Doctor of Chiropractic degree through TCC. The agreement takes immediate effect and currently enrolled BIMS students are eligible.

“We are excited to sign this agreement with Texas A&M’s Biomedical Sciences program, and I look forward to working with more students from this program, whose curriculum so perfectly dovetails into the chiropractic curriculum,” shared Dr. Richard G. Brassard, Texas Chiropractic College President. “We’re proud to already have several Aggies at TCC, and they do a great job in our Doctor of Chiropractic program.”

To learn more about becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic at TCC, please visit www.txchiro.edu/gotcc or contact the Office of Admission at 800-468-6839 or 281-998-6007 or via e-mail at admissions@txchiro.edu.

For information about enrolling in Texas A&M’s Biomedical Sciences program, please visit them online at http://www.cvm.tamu.edu/bims/.
