CCCKC recruiting event draws 39 prospective students

Chiropractic Economics April 21, 2009

April 21, 2009 — Prospective students got a chance to try the college on for size April 3 during “DC Discovery Day” open house held on campus. Nearly 50 guests, including 39 prospects, were in attendance. The recruiting event showcased the college with a variety of activities and drew visitors from Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Oklahoma, according to Melissa Denton, CCCKC admissions director.

Prospects also attended presentations by Dr. Paul Barlett, anatomy; Dr. Michael Ramcharan, mock adjusting; Dr. Mark Pfefer, research; Dr. Will Evans, health promotion; and Dr. John Nab, professional development. CCCKC’s Student Ambassadors led sessions in the areas of therapy and X-ray.

After lunch and a chance to attend the Vendor Fair, held in conjunction with the open house, the group heard from a panel of current students who answered questions. Campus tours followed in mid-afternoon and the day concluded with the group visiting the Financial Aid, Admissions and Undergraduate departments.
