July 12, 2013 — The Joint Corp., a leading franchisor of chiropractic clinics is proud to announce the opening of the Westwood Village clinic, the 15th clinic to open in the Houston area. This is the 2nd clinic in The Woodlands/Magnolia area owned and operated by Susan and Doug Stewart.
Doug Stewart spent nearly 40 years in the office equipment industry, primarily in high level executive management positions while his wife Susan spent the last 15 years in automotive fleet management as a national accounts manager.
“We witnessed first-hand the recuperative powers of chiropractic care when Doug’s father was diagnosed with a rare and incurable disease back in the 1960’s and was given only three months to live,” recalled Susan. “After receiving daily chiropractic care for two months, his disease went into remission for 50+ years. Doug and I also both realize the difficulty chiropractic patients have in trying to obtain affordable and convenient quality care. The Joint and its highly successful business model under the leadership of John Leonesio was a natural fit for us.”
The Grand Opening of the Westwood Village clinic will be held Friday, Aug. 2 at noon with a ribbon-cutting ceremony conducted by the Magnolia Chamber of Commerce. Clinic tours will be held along with register-to-win prizes and refreshments.
“The Joint’s innovative approach to chiropractic care that centers around the patient made this an easy decision for us,” said Doug Stewart. “Convenient hours, affordability and the need to never make an appointment are what makes The Joint extremely successful.”
Tiffany Schultz, DC, will lead a staff of exceptional doctors at the Westwood Village Clinic. Schultz earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Dakota and graduated with honors in 2002 with a Doctorate in Chiropractic from the Texas Chiropractic College.
As a practicing Chiropractor in The Woodlands area for over 10 years, Dr. Schultz strives to help others achieve optimal health and well-being through chiropractic care. An active sports participant growing up, a serious knee injury forced her to the sidelines. After being told that surgery was her only option, she turned to regular chiropractic sessions which eventually led her back to full rehabilitation. “After my personal experiences, I knew that a career as a chiropractor was in my future. Nothing else offers the continual balance in life than does regular visits with a chiropractor,” said Schultz.
The Joint is operated by Massage Envy’s Founder and former CEO John Leonesio. “After experiencing the true benefits of regular chiropractic care, the Stewarts are dynamic ambassadors of The Joint and will offer residents of southern Montgomery and northern Harris counties exceptional service,” said Leonesio.
