TCC, Dillard University enter educational partnership

Chiropractic Economics July 21, 2011

July 21, 2011 — Texas Chiropractic College (TCC) and Dillard University (DU) have entered into a 3+3 articulation agreement, which goes into effect immediately.

This agreement serves to facilitate the admission and academic transfer of students from DU to TCC and will ensure a seamless transition of DU students seeking a Bachelor of Science degree while at the same time pursuing a Doctor of Chiropractic degree through TCC.

Participating students will take their first three years of undergraduate coursework at DU, then complete the BS degree requirements within the DC degree requirements of TCC.

Students completing the combined curriculum will hold a BS from Dillard University and a DC from Texas Chiropractic College.

“We are very excited to launch this partnership with our new friends at Dillard University,” said Dr. Clay McDonald, TCC provost. “One of the shared goals of our schools is to assist our students in achieving their educational goals as quickly and economically as possible, and this agreement will help us further that cause. This is a great benefit to the institutions, but more importantly, to our students.”
