Summer commencement held at Cleveland Chiropractic College

Chiropractic Economics Staff August 25, 2012

August 25, 2012 — Degrees were conferred on 31 graduates during Summer 2012 commencement at Cleveland Chiropractic College, held Aug. 10. Paul Barlett, DC, dean of pre-clinical education, presented the graduates with their diplomas.

Faculty Marshals for the ceremony were Aftab Merchant, DC, and William Tuttle, DC, and introductory remarks were given by Jill Davis, DC, department chair, basic sciences.

Clark Beckley, DC, vice president of campus and alumni relations, introduced the commencement speaker, Terry Yochum, DC, of the Rocky Mountain Chiropractic Radiological Center. Yochum was followed by Joshua W. Oberhelman, class valedictorian.

Dean of Undergraduate Studies, Tim Schoof, DC, presented the candidates for the Bachelor of Science degree, and the hooding of the candidates for the Doctor of Chiropractic degree was done by Robert Moore, DC, associated chair of clinical sciences. Michael Whitehead, DC, department chair, diagnostic sciences, administered the chiropractic oath.

The Summer 2012 graduates were, Deborah G.B. Brown, Christian L. Cook, Wayne M. Cox, Matthew A. Daniel, Ryan E. Day, Kadi A. Fletcher, Benjamin R. Fluegge  Joseph C. Glenn, Clayton A. Horstman, Keun-Bae Jeon, Brian D. Lum, Corey Menke  Scott A. Moon, Tyler J. Nigus, Joshua W. Oberhelman, Matthew J. Ogle, Sang T. Pham, Sarah L. Raak, Marshall A. Reed, Amber N. Richmond-Thompson, Jeff E. Setter, Broderick A. Sheard, Charles I. Shively, Patrick W. Smith, Chelsie N. Stainbrook, Patrick M. Taplett, John P. Tran, Andrew Whigham, Bennett M. Wyllie, Khaiser P. Xiong and Heather M. Zach.
