Standard Process donates $10,000 in scholarships

Chiropractic Economics March 12, 2010

March 12, 2010 — Three students received $2,500 scholarships: Kelly Golob, a student at Southern California University of Health Sciences, and Darci Robertson and Stephanie Johnson, both students at Palmer College of Chiropractic-West.

The fourth scholarship was split between Southern California University of Health Sciences student Stanton Hom, and Northwestern Health Sciences University student Sarah Hjerjo, due to a tie. Each received a $1,250 scholarship.

Winning essays can be viewed online at www.standardprocess.com.

This was the second year Standard Process presented the scholarships. Hom also won the scholarship in 2009. Essays were reviewed by an independent panel of five reviewers.

To be eligible to win a scholarship, applicants must be an active member of the Student American Chiropractors Association (SACA), submit his or her current curriculum vitae, craft a 500-word essay on the role of nutrition in the chiropractic practice, and attend the 2010 NCLC.
