November 7, 2017 – Leading chiropractic software provider, PayDC, today announced the hire of Evan M. Gwilliam, DC, as Clinical Director to complement and improve multiple areas of software development and expert customer support.
More specifically, Gwilliam will draw from his deep experience to provide direction for the clinical elements of the software that help to ensure compliance and better treatment outcomes for patients, while providing improved ease-of-use of the software by staff. In addition, he will help build continuing education training for doctors and staff who need help with documentation, coding, Medicare, or any other reimbursement related needs for chiropractic (and physical medicine in general).
Gwilliam’s experience speaks for itself. He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic as Valedictorian and is a Certified Professional Coding and ICD-10 Instructor, Medical Compliance Specialist, and Certified Professional Medical Auditor. Because he is also a clinician with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and a Master’s of Business Administration he is a sought-after seminar speaker. He provides expert witness testimony, medical record audits, consulting, and online courses for health care providers and has authored and contributed to reference books and articles for multiple publications.
“We hired Dr. Evan because of his experience and passion for helping doctors run a successful practice,” commented David Klein, one of the founders of PayDC. Klein continues, “I had worked with Dr. Evan on numerous audits and other collaborative efforts while he served as the Vice President of ChiroCode, which provides coding and documentation training to chiropractors. Having him on our team as Clinical Director is another huge advantage for all our customers to get the care, guidance and compliance they should expect from their EHR.”
Gwilliam stated, “Inevitably someone asks how to implement the principles I teach in my seminars around the country, and I have always had to tell them that it really depends on their EHR platform. Now that I am part of the PayDC team I can finally point these doctors in the right direction. PayDC has the right combination of people and services to deliver exactly what I have taught for so many years as part of ChiroCode, and I am thrilled to help offices get what they need.” Excited to continue helping make a difference in the chiropractic community, he continued, “I am dedicated to helping doctors do their jobs more easily, compliantly, and successfully. Teaching doctors and creating ways to simplify the business of healthcare is a passion of mine, and I plan to take PayDC’s software to the masses so more practices can be successful in their business, and the care they give to patients.”
Gwilliam is a welcomed addition to the professional team at PayDC Chiropractic Software.
