Chiropractic Economics Staff April 29, 2014

Donna_WaldApril 29, 2014 – Parker University has named Donna Wald, educator and experienced outreach professional, as its director of alumni relations. In her new post, Wald will oversee the outreach toward an alumni base totaling nearly 7,000 graduates and spanning more than 30 countries.

“Maintaining excellent relationships with our graduates is extremely important to us,” said Brian McAulay, DC, PhD, president of Parker University. “As an educator and proven community outreach leader, she’s well-suited to ensure our graduates remain as important to Parker’s future as they are its past.”

Wald has previously served in outreach positions at Texas A&M University-Commerce, Texas Women’s University, Dallas ISD, and DeVry University in Dallas, where she served as director of community outreach. She has also served as an associate faculty member of Collin College since 2008.

As director of alumni relations, Wald will work closely with the Parker University Alumni Association and its 13-member Board of Directors.

Membership in the Parker University Alumni Association is automatic, free of dues, for all graduates of Parker University. Lifetime membership is achieved through a gift of $1,500, all of which is contributed to the Parker Alumni Association Endowment Fund. The Parker Alumni Association Endowment Fund awards a $1,000 student scholarship every trimester.
