January 26, 2010 —The National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) will add a third building to the international headquarters complex. This building will serve as a meeting facility and is scheduled to be complete May 27, 2010.
The NBCE Developmental Committee started planning this expansion in October 2008, because the space being used for meetings in the original building was supposed to be made into office space for employees. The NBCE continues to add examinations and work with other clients to grow its business. The new building will also be used for additional employee offices and exam staging area.
The building began Oct. 5, 2009 with Drahota Commercial LLC as the general construction contractor. The almost 15,000 square foot facility will contain the newest state of the art technology to be used in the conference rooms and lobby.
It will also contain a business center for guests to check e-mail, print boarding passes and complete other tasks as needed. The building will be mostly utilized by the NBCE for its many test committee meetings, workshops, employee functions and other events.
