Multi Radiance Medical donates portable laser to ‘Volunteers in Medicine’

Chiropractic Economics September 27, 2011

September 27, 2011 — Multi Radiance Medical is donating a TQ Solo portable laser therapy device to the Volunteers in Medicine free clinic in San Diego honoring the request of Dr. Ken Greenberg, a twice weekly volunteer at VIM and local San Diego chiropractor. Dr. Greenberg made his request to help working patients at the clinic who cannot afford health insurance.

Multi Radiance Medical super pulsed laser therapy devices are manufactured to provide accelerated pain relief and healing in a drug-free and non-invasive manner. A single device can service numerous patients per day.

Multi Radiance Medical laser therapy has more than 300 treatment protocols globally.

Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) was started by Dr. Jack McConnell who is credited with the discovery of Tylenol and created the first commercially successful MRI scanner and was one of the co-principal investigators for the Human Genome Project.

VIM arranges high-quality medical care from retired physicians who volunteer their talents for local citizens without medical insurance. VIM has more than 55 operating clinics in the east and one each in Oregon and Washington. The San Diego clinic is the first in California.
