Chris Bergman acquires BioProtein Technology

Chiropractic Economics June 14, 2018

June 14, 2018—Chris Bergman has acquired BioProtein Technology (“BPT”) effective (June 1, 2018). He will assume the role of President & CEO of BPT. Since 2011, Chris has played a major role in building the success of BPT having spent time in sales, research and development, and business development departments.

“I am pleased to have the opportunity to acquire BioProtein Technology, allowing our team to implement many new and exciting initiatives to further improve our clients’ practices, as well as the lives of their patients. I have made so many great long-term friendships with the people I serve and also with those I work with. My success has centered around two very important qualities; listening and transparency. When you truly listen to what your client wants and always communicate with honesty, then things get done the way everyone wants them to. With the quality and talent of the people we have at BPT, I never fear letting a client down in any way.” says Bergman.

Jim Powers, founder of BPT, “For the last seven years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with Chris Bergman since he joined the company right out of college. He’s been an exceptional sales leader, fueling steady growth year after year. It has been great to witness him develop beyond sales, becoming a successful entrepreneur and businessman. I’m proud to see Chris continue his personal and business growth, fulfilling his ambitious goals through the acquisition of BioProtein Technology. I look forward to our continued relationship.”

Neil M., BPT Client, “Professionalism, innovation, and operational excellence are all words that come to mind when I think of Chris Bergman and BioProtein. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with our manufacturing needs. They are simply second to none. ”

Bergman’s team will be lead by Scott Freiman who will be assuming the role of Executive Vice President. “My story is an illustration of how the sincere love of a product and company can turn into something beyond one’s wildest dreams. A world-renowned doctor recommended BioProtein’s products to me several years ago and they proved life changing. As a result, I recommended their products to my healthcare practitioner clients as well as patients throughout the years. Less than a year ago, I joined BioProtein as Business Development Director. Now, it is surreal to be a part of the company’s leadership team. It’s exciting to be chosen to be an integral part of the BioProtein’s Strategic initiatives and ongoing growth.”

In addition to Freiman, Bergman will be bringing on Adam Abdat as Regional Sales Director and Nevine Duncan as BPT’s Nutritional Advisor.
