Life West surpasses its expectations in their ‘Bridge to the Future’ campaign

Chiropractic Economics Staff September 9, 2012

September 9, 2012 — The Life Chiropractic College West Board of Regents set a target in late 2011 to raise $1.5 million by June 30. The target was exceeded on the last day of the campaign. In a YouTube video, Brian Kelly, DC, president of Life West, conveyed a sincere thanks to all contributors to this campaign.

Kelly stated, “Not only did we raise the $1.5 million but we exceeded it. An exciting part of this campaign was the people who came from all walks of life who contributed at levels we couldn’t have dreamed of. We are very grateful and appreciative of their support.”

Life West is entering an exciting new growth phase. In September,  Kelly will start a 33-city tour promoting a career in chiropractic throughout the U.S., Canada, and abroad. In addition, their new DC and student recruitment program “Champions Weekend” is scheduled for October where DCs get involved in recruitment, and prospective students come to campus, meet faculty and current students, and get a taste of  the Life West experience.

Phase two also includes a $10M fundraising campaign to ensure the long term security of Life West. This comprehensive campaign will include capital, operational, research, and endowment elements.

Kelly commented, “We are working to ensure a bright future, especially at a time when our communities need a rationale, cost effective, safe and effective approach to healthcare. Chiropractic is perfectly positioned for this, and Life West continues to produce high quality graduates.”
