F4CP announces Gerard Clum, DC, as recipient of Kent S. Greenawalt Legacy Award

The Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to educating the public about the value of chiropractic care, announced the late Gerard William Clum, DC, FICA, as the recipient of the Kent S. Greenawalt Legacy Award.

The award was presented at the Florida Chiropractic Association’s annual convention,  The National, and was accepted on Clum’s behalf by his children, Lauren and Don Clum, both doctors of chiropractic, noted an F4CP press release.

Gerard Clum, DC, FICA, served as an F4CP founding board member, spokesperson and executive committee member for 20 years. Beyond his dedicated service to supporting F4CP, he was active throughout his entire career tirelessly serving many organizations including the International Chiropractors Association, World Federation of Chiropractic, Association of Chiropractic Colleges and Council on Chiropractic Education.

Greenawalt, chairman, F4CP. “Dr. Clum was a visionary leader, mentor and advocate for the advancement of chiropractic care. Established in 2023 in honor of F4CP’s founder, the Kent S. Greenawalt Legacy Award honors leaders who have made outstanding contributions to chiropractic and also acknowledges a member’s service to the community, honor the individual’s efforts in chiropractic and confirms peer recognition of the person as a professional leader.

The award is presented annually to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation and dedication to the chiropractic profession. This year, Clum stood out among a distinguished group of nominees, earning admiration and respect for a career marked by excellence and passion.
