F4CP’s Lignos appointed to Women Chiropractors Board of Directors

Chiropractic Economics Staff January 23, 2024

The Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP) seeks to be an organization the media looks to when discussing health policy issues concerning chiropractic.

The Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP) joins Women Chiropractors® (WDC) in announcing the appointment of F4CP marketing director Alexis Lignos to the WDC Board of Directors.

Lignos brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her new role as a board member of WDC. As the Foundation’s marketing director, Lignos has led numerous award-winning media campaigns. In 2023 alone, Lignos and her team won five prestigious awards recognizing marketing excellence including the Healthcare Advertising Award for the “Yes2Chiropractic” advertising campaign; Hermes Creative Award for the “Naturally, Chiropractic” campaign; AVA Digital Award for F4CP’s Adjusted
Reality podcast; and a Healthcare Digital Marketing Award for F4CP’s national ChiroThon™ event. As a WDC board member, she will provide advice and direction to assist the organization as it serves women chiropractors around the world.

Lignos is a certified digital marketing professional with a passion for transforming ideas into impactful results. She graduated from Montclair State University in 2012 with honors, having earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies with a concentration in public relations. After graduation, she launched her career as a publicist specializing in healthcare, where she was successful in securing earned media coverage in top-tier publications and navigating crisis communications on behalf of
agency clients.

“It is an honor to join the board of Women Chiropractors,” says Lignos. “WDC is instrumental in championing the voices and contributions of women in chiropractic care. I look forward to collaborating with my colleagues to further elevate and empower
female doctors of chiropractic.”

“We are delighted to welcome Alexis to the WDC Board of Directors,” says WDC president Cristina Padilla. “Her track record of leadership and advocacy, coupled with her passion for advancing chiropractic care, will be invaluable in steering our organization toward continued growth and success.”

A driving force in helping spread the benefits of chiropractic care, Lignos also serves as an Advisory Board Member of the Alternative Pain Treatment Directory.
