May 10, 2012 — Activator Methods International recently announced that Dr. Arlan Fuhr, CEO and co-founder of Activator Methods will provide a lecture and workshop at the upcoming European Chiropractors’ Union (ECU) Conference in Amsterdam, May 17-19.
“The ECU represents 20 national chiropractic associations and pursues the interests of chiropractic through science and research,” commented Fuhr, recipient of the prestigious World Federation of Chiropractic’s Honour Award. “Science and research form the basis of our every approach at Activator Methods, and I look forward to sharing our technique, instruments, and studies with the ECU membership.”
The European Chiropractors’ Union was formed in 1932 between Great Britain, Belgium, Sweden, and Switzerland as a way to pursue the science of the profession though research, teaching publications, and legal activities. Each year the ECU holds an international convention as part of their tradition, and as a vehicle for introducing new findings to the field through this highly anticipated scientific event.
On Friday, May 18, Fuhr will be teaching a workshop titled, “Activator Methods-A Clinical Introduction to the Basic Scan Protocol.” The purpose of this workshop is to introduce the doctor to the methodology of AMCT, which includes chiropractic theory, analysis, and basic adjusting methodology.
On Saturday, May 19, Fuhr will present, “Spinal Care for the Elderly-Is Activator Method a Preferable Treatment Option?” a lecture based on the three demographic/ epidemiological studies, 25 case studies, and four clinical trials.
