CWA provides wellness services to PCH

Chiropractic Economics September 26, 2010

September 26, 2010 — The Creating Wellness Alliance (CWA) announced that Publishers Clearing House (PCH) has awarded them the contract to provide wellness services and solutions to all PCH employees.

PCH, a well known household brand famous for its multi-channel product and sweepstakes offers wanted to create a wellness cultural for their employees, while at the same time lowering their ongoing medical benefits costs. After an extensive search of wellness providers they chose CWA based on their comprehensive wellness solutions and flexible offerings.

“PCH is a great employee oriented company to work for. It is a company that’s not only focused on the well being of the bottom line, but also the well being of the employees”, states Roxanne Miller, benefit manager for Publishers Clearing House. “CWA’s wellness approach offered us a great solution for both,” continued Miller.

Unique to Creating Wellness is its assessment station, which has the ability to evaluate a person’s level of wellness. The outcome of this evaluation produces a Wellness Quotient (WQ) for the person. The WQ is a number that can suggest whether a person is achieving their health and wellness goals or living a lifestyle that may be contributing to poor health. Creating Wellness then customizes a direction for improving their level of wellness.

“We live in an employer driven healthcare environment. The current trends in spending are not economically sustainable,” stated Dr. Patrick Gentempo, CEO of Creating Wellness Alliance. “Investing in employee wellness has become a necessity for many, if not all corporations. What Creating Wellness brings to the PCH team and other corporations is unique, powerful, and surprisingly affordable,” continued Gentempo.
