Cleveland University-Kansas City (CUKC) has announced that its Annual Conference and Expo (ACE) will be held Oct. 19-22, 2023, at the Overland Park Convention Center in Overland Park, Kan.
This event will offer a broad range of speakers and topics in the fields of chiropractic and the health sciences, and attendees can earn up to 16 hours of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) during the weekend. There will also be numerous vendors on site throughout the weekend sharing information about various products and services.
This power-packed event will commence Thursday, Oct. 19, at 5 p.m. with a two-hour CEU session. A variety of educational options will be offered Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and there will be other activities for attendees during the weekend. Of special interest on Friday is a sports performance panel during lunch that will feature practitioners who work with the Kansas City Chiefs, the Kansas City Royals, and Kansas State University athletics.
The program offers something for everyone. Topics throughout the weekend will include: Extremity Adjusting, Pain Management, Pediatrics and Coding/Documentation. Day three will feature presentations on Radiology, Spine Management, Cox-Flexion technique, TMJ and Oral Systemic Health, among others.
Jalonna Bowie, CUKC director of campus and alumni relations is excited about what ACE 2023 holds for attendees. Bowie said ACE is an excellent way to earn CEUs, while offering a great opportunity to socialize with colleagues and friends. Social events will also be a part of the annual gathering. A Friday night happy hour will provide ample time to visit with fellow attendees.
“After a spectacular centennial celebration in 2022, we are building on that momentum for ACE 2023,” Bowie said. “We have an excellent line-up of speakers for this year’s event, and we look forward to welcoming all of our alumni and friends back for the weekend.”
The annual fall gathering is a favorite for many alumni, Bowie said, as it allows them to see friends, have fun, and of course, fulfill CEU requirements. For that reason, everything is “coming up aces” for those seeking to reconnect with old friends while broadening their minds.
