ChiroSpring hosts Palmer College of Chiropractic students at first annual golf tournament

Chiropractic Economics Staff September 24, 2015

On a sunny September morning, ChiroSpring, the makers of ChiroSpring practice management software, hosted dozens of Palmer College of Chiropractic students for the first annual chirospring golf tournamentChiroSpring Classic golf tournament.

Students of the Davenport, Iowa campus gathered together to celebrate the recent completion of their board exams and enjoy some fresh air and relaxation on the golf course. ChiroSpring, which shares a hometown with Palmer, established the event to support to the chiropractic community and give thanks to the future doctors that will keep the chiropractic industry helping patients well into the future.

“The ChiroSpring Classic truly could not have gone any better,” said ChiroSpring CEO Brian Albery. “We had an amazing turnout and had so much fun with our Palmer friends. The ChiroSpring staff had as much fun hosting the event as the students did participating. It was wonderful to connect with the community in such a fun environment, and so many of our participants walked away with really fantastic prizes as well.”

Four lucky winners received a full year of ChiroSpring software for free. Others received ChiroSpring software discounts, brand new golf clubs, tee shirts, and more. ChiroSpring staff also drove hole-to-hole providing the participants sub sandwiches, snacks, and beverages.

Each team even had the benefit of receiving one additional “celebrity” golf shot from a ChiroSpring employee. While some were better than others, one team tapped in a “gimme” after a 97 yard wedge landed just four inches from the cup. The celebratory cheer that followed symbolized the spirit of the day’s event.

A host of other sponsors participated in the ChiroSpring Classic, allowing local businesses to sponsor various holes and provided the opportunity for them to connect with Palmer students in a personal way. ChiroSpring and the Palmer participants offered a special thanks to the following sponsors for helping to make the event a rousing success: Palmer College Sports Council, Core Products International, Motion Palpation Institute, Activator Club, Palmer College Bookstore, Chiropractic Worldwide, PASS Tutoring Club, Palmer Chiropractic Rugby Football Club, Rookies Sports Bar, Hungry Hobo, Biofreeze, Troxell Intern Program, PASF and U.S. Golf Manufacturing.

The winning best-ball score was -12, shared by two different teams. ChiroSpring plans to continue the ChiroSpring Classic tradition next summer, allowing members of the chiropractic community to come together for another day of celebration and camaraderie.
