Deadline extended for chiropractic coin to benefit 2020 olympics commercial

Rick Vach October 28, 2019

Due to popular demand and multiple extension requests, the deadline to order the limited-edition coin to portray 125 years of chiropractic excellence, produced by the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress, has been extended to Nov. 13 for delivery before Dec. 25, 2019.

“We had a number of doctors reach out asking if we could extend the pre-order deadline in order to receive their engraved, limited-edition coin before the holidays,” said Sherry McAllister, DC, M.S (Ed)., CCSP, executive vice president, Foundation for Chiropractic Progress.

On one side of the coin, which is slightly larger than a silver dollar, a gold design showcases hands over a spine, and when you turn it over a 125-year celebratory timestamp reveals itself on the back.

This coin tells the story of chiropractic beginning with the first adjustment by D.D. Palmer on Sept. 18, 1895, to what has transpired since in the last 124+ years, including the production and placement of a chiropractic commercial to run during the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.

For only a $49.99 donation, this coin will arrive just in time for the holidays to display in your practice, or to gift to a mentor, colleague or patient who has touched your life. Personal engraving is included at no additional cost when you pre-order.

When you pre-order this coin, your $49.99 donation will go directly toward the production of the Foundation’s brand-new chiropractic commercial, which will air during the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, July 24-Aug. 9, 2020. The commercial is expected to reach 23.7 million households.
