Acom shifts management responsibilities

Chiropractic Economics February 17, 2009

Following closely the consolidation of its Healthcare Division Offices from Jacksonville, Florida to its regional headquarters location in Atlanta, ACOM Solutions, Inc., has also reassigned responsibilities among its senior management, it was announced recently by CEO Patrick McMahon.

Senior Vice President James R. Scott has assumed responsibility for the company’s marketing effort, including its extensive web sales and marketing presence, online and print advertising, public relations and public events. He will continue to shepherd the company’s rapidly growing channel marketing effort, which is currently ahead of its first year projections.

Mark Firmin, previously senior vice president of marketing, has been appointed senior vice president and general manager of the ACOM Healthcare Business Division, where he will manage the division’s clinical and business management systems development and sales, its consulting group and its billing services group. He replaces Gregory T. Church, who has resigned to pursue other interests, but who will continue to consult with the division.

Vice President Libby Guntner, who has been in charge of operations for ACOM’s i400 Division, has taken on the added responsibilities for operations and support for the Healthcare Business Division. She will continue to oversee the same activities within the i400 Division.

“These people are all seasoned executives with years of experience in many areas of ACOM’s activities,” McMahon said. “It is a tribute to the breadth and depth of their abilities that they are able to move seamlessly between different areas of the company in response to our internal needs and the conditions of the markets. I congratulate them on stepping up to their new assignments and commend them enthusiastically for their ability to do so.”
