Stability can be thought of as: “The ability of an object to maintain equilibrium or resume its original, upright position after displacement from an outside force.” Kinesiology tape was developed to assist the neurological component of stability while allowing full range of motion. In other words, when placing tape on the skin, the nerves (mechano-receptors) in the fascia and superficial muscle are stimulated and alert the brain of activity in the region.

A top level meeting was held among the leaders of Parker University, the Texas Chiropractic Association (TCA), the American Chiropractic Association, and the World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC) at the Parker Seminars Las Vegas conference on Feb. 23, the first day of the event. Also in attendance were major representatives from the chiropractic industry and media. The was chaired by William Morgan, DC, president of Parker University, regarding the grave situation facing Texas's chiropractors following a court ruling.

Online electronic health record (EHR) portals have been the focus of a love/hate relationship with patients and providers alike. Patients often love them because they provide anywhere, anytime access to health data and fit well into consumers’ increasingly mobile lifestyles. Puerto Rico: The Silicon Valley of chiropractors

Chiropractors in Puerto Rico is may not something you had ever considered before. However, according to the most recent information provided by the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Board (FCLB) Puerto Rico Board of Chiropractic Examiners, there are 453 chiropractic licenses issued on this 3,515 square mile island. While only 187 of them are categorized as “active,” what’s interesting is that 45 of these are actually non-resident licenses. In other words, approximately one out of every four chiropractors in that area aren’t living there on a long-term, permanent basis.
