Carlson Laboratories natural-source vitamin E used in recent study

Chiropractic Economics December 13, 2013

CarlsonLabsDecember 13, 2013 — A recent study published in Allergy, the official journal of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI), gave 33 allergic asthmatics, (both male and female), 1500 IU of Carlson Laboratories natural-source vitamin E daily over a period of 16 weeks.

Asthma is associated with oxidative stress, (the havoc caused by free radicals on the body), and diminished antioxidant defenses, (the ability to combat free radicals). The conclusion of the study indicated that high doses of Carlson natural-source vitamin E provide enough antioxidants to reduce oxidative stress and to curb allergic asthma in the test subjects.

Carlson Laboratories has always believed in the superior benefits of their pure, natural-source vitamin E. These beliefs were cemented when scientists found, not only is natural-source vitamin E better absorbed from our digestive system than synthetic vitamin E, it is retained in the body longer. As all natural-source vitamin E becomes active antioxidants versus synthetic vitamin E, more free radicals are vanquished.

“The recent study in Allergy only re-emphasizes the amazing results accomplished by using Carlson natural-source vitamin E,” commented Carilyn Anderson, president of Carlson Laboratories. “Physicians and health-care professionals recommend Carlson vitamin E knowing that their patients will be receiving only the highest quality of 100% natural vitamin E with the full potency guaranteed on the label.”
