Bradshaw nominated as president-elect of the NACAC admission counseling

Chiropractic Economics April 29, 2012

April 29, 2012 — Dr. Boyd A. Bradshaw, vice president of enrollment management at Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs, has been formally nominated as a president-elect candidate for the National Association for College Admissions Counseling (NACAC) board of directors.

Election for this position and two other board of director slots will be made by the NACAC Assembly at its national conference October 4-6, 2012 in Denver. In selecting a final list of nominees for election by the 2012 Assembly, the Governance and Nominating Committee considered a number of factors including overall career experience, representation, and association leadership at both the affiliate and national levels.

“I am drawn to the mission of NACAC, especially the promotion of high professional standards that foster ethical and social responsibility in our profession,” said Bradshaw. “I welcome the opportunity to be nominated as a candidate and look forward to leading NACAC into our future.”

Since 1937, the National Association for College Admission Counseling has guided the evolution of admission counseling into a recognized profession. NACAC membership has grown to represent the diverse range of professionals in secondary and postsecondary institutions who work with students transitioning to and between colleges, as well as other professionals who are aligned with NACAC’s mission and purpose.  In 2012, NACAC membership numbers reached more than 12,000 individuals. In addition, 23 affiliate organizations — state, regional and international — serve admission counseling professionals throughout the United States and the world.
