ACA announces affinity partnership with Surface Medical Inc.

Chiropractic Economics Staff July 30, 2012

July 30, 2012 — The American Chiropractic Association (ACA) recently announced its latest affinity partnership with Surface Medical Inc. (SMI). SMI — creator of Nuvaply Table Tear-Care patches — offers ACA members an easy and cost effective alternative to replacing the entire upholstery of worn down adjusting tables.

The Nuvaply peel-and-stick patch is great for repairing minor rips, tears, and scratches on chiropractic tables. Additionally, Nuvaply is made from durable materials that are designed to withstand heavy use and exposure to common chemical cleaners found in the professional health care environment.

“I think this is a very cost effective approach to increasing the life span of chiropractic adjusting tables,” said ACA President Keith Overland, DC. “Practice solutions like Nuvaply’s peel-and-stick patch are a great way for DCs to ensure that their practice treatment rooms look professional and safe.”

Nuvaply patches are:

  • Easy to apply: just peel and stick
  • Attractive and affordable
  • Soft and supple to the touch
  • Scuff and water resistant

“We are thrilled to be working with ACA and its members,” said Jeff Schacter, DC, SMI’s co-founder and chief advocate. “We developed Nuvaply to provide hard working practitioners with a simple and effective product to extend the life of their tables. This partnership helps to validate the usefulness of Nuvaply.”
