October 25, 2012 — The New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) Admissions Department welcomed 208 new students in its September classes: 122 students representing 23 states, Puerto Rico, Canada, and South Korea in the chiropractic program, 32 in the acupuncture master’s programs, 29 in the online Master of Science in Applied Clinical Nutrition (MSACN) program, and 25 in its online Master of Science in Human Anatomy & Physiology Instruction (MSHAPI) program.
NYCC takes great pride in the academic excellence represented by its incoming students and, accordingly, makes every effort to provide entrants with merit-based scholarship funding. In the new classes, 77 students who attained cumulative undergraduate GPAs between 3.0 and 4.0 received a total of $135,000.00 in merit-based scholarships. The College also awarded more than $274,000.00 in Presidential, International, and Legacy scholarships.
