ImaSight makes digital X-ray annotation software available to DCs

Chiropractic Economics Staff June 12, 2012

June 12, 2012 — ImaSight Inc., an industry leader in digital X-ray hardware and annotation software for chiropractic, has recently made its Vision Chiropractic Power Tools software available directly for purchase — without requiring the purchase of a digital X-ray hardware system.

“The reality is that thousands of chiropractic practices across the U.S. desire the powerful benefits that only a digital x-ray system can bring, but find that a full system is not quite within reach,” said Steve Johnston, vice president and co-founder of ImaSight. “So we’re pleased to announce that ImaSight is making its annotation software available directly to chiropractors via our website.”

With just a digital camera and ImaSight’s Vision Chiropractic Power Tools software, practices can finally realize the benefit of digital X-ray software without first having to purchase digital X-ray equipment. Film-based X-rays can be captured with a digital camera, and then those images can be imported into the Vision annotation software and then shared with patients via a computer screen, iPad, or Android device.

“This really empowers practices in a number of ways,” commented Johnston. “Rather than just telling patients about a diagnosis, our annotation software gives doctors the ability to show their patients exactly where the problem lies — and contrast their diagnosis with where they patient can be with further treatments — giving them a powerful visual and compelling reason to book their next appointment. And all in a very affordable package.”

In addition to making the software available for purchase, ImaSight is allowing practices to download a fully working, 30-day trial version of its software by visiting ImaSightChiro.com and downloading the software before Sept. 1, 2012.
