The Anglo-European College of Chiropractic hosts first Business Open Evening

Chiropractic Economics October 2, 2010

October 1, 2010 — The Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (AECC) will be hosting its first Business Open Evening Nov. 17 2010, to raise awareness of musculoskeletal problems that can arise in the workplace.

Back pain and related musculoskeletal disorders (MSD) are the largest cause of work-related absence in the United Kingdom. A total of 10 million working days a year are lost to MSD’s, according to the Health Executive, at a total cost of £600m annually to UK employers.

The AECC’s state of the art clinic will be open from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. to allow local business representatives the opportunity to network with other local companies, tour the AECC’s treatment facilities and understand how quality chiropractic care could help their employees. Refreshments will be provided.

The open evening will also provide an opportunity for those businesses that have not done so already to join our Corporate Rate Scheme. This offers a 20 percent discount on examinations, treatment, and rehabilitation for both work related and non-work related injuries, such as sporting, road traffic accidents and back pain associated with pregnancy.
