February 23, 2009 — Northwestern Health Sciences University students spent a morning in January at the Pillsbury House Integrated Health Clinic, giving the walls a fresh coat of paint.
The Pillsbury House clinic, a university partnership, offers a student-run integrated health clinic combining medical, psychological, and natural health care modalities. Student practitioners from each field work together to provide treatments to those who don’t have access to healthcare.
The event was part of an overall renovation of the clinic. A total of 15 students participated in the painting, including 13 Northwestern students and two University of Minnesota students.
