Stuart Bernsen, DC, named Midwest Entrepreneur of the Year

July 11, 2013 — Ernst & Young named Chiro One Wellness Centers Founder and CEO, Stuart Bernsen, DC, its Midwest Entrepreneur of the Year in the Healthcare category in June of this year, marking the first time the prestigious award has gone to a chiropractic services provider.

This is Bernsen’s third year as a finalist and first as a winner. He joins all of the regional winners across the country to compete at the national level in several categories. National award winners will be announced at a gala event in Palm Springs, Calif., on Nov. 16, 2013.

The Entrepreneur of the Year award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

Under Bernsen’s leadership, Chiro One has seen meteoric expansion from seven clinics in 2007 to 78 in 2013. The company’s revenue growth has landed Chiro One among the top 20 companies on Crain’s Chicago Business’ Fast Fifty list three times in the last four years. Within the healthcare field, specifically, Chiro One has become a leading voice for chiropractic both nationally and internationally.
