November 2, 2009 — Charles DuBois, president of Standard Process Inc., received an honorary doctorate of laws from Logan College of Chiropractic.
The degree was given to DuBois for his continuous commitment to give back to academic institutions that cultivate tomorrow’s health leaders. DuBois gave the key-note address for Logan’s 159th commencement ceremony where 72 students received their Doctor of Chiropractic degrees.
DuBois, through Standard Process, has made significant contributions to chiropractic, contributing financially to campus renovations for many of the chiropractic schools, providing funding for endowed nutrition chairs and scholarship programs, and supplying products to college clinics. DuBois furthers his own involvement by serving as a board member of several chiropractic associations.
Logan College of Chiropractic President Dr. George A. Goodman (DC) presented the award, calling DuBois “a strong leader in today’s health profession.”
This is DuBois’ second honorary doctorate of laws. He was awarded earlier in the year with an honorary doctorate from National University of Health Sciences (Lombard, Ill.).
