May 11, 2010 — The American College for Advancement in Medicine (ACAM) awarded Standard Process Inc. with its highest honor, the Corporate Vision Award, during ACAM’s Spring 2010 Education Summit held in San Diego, April 21-25, 2010.
The Corporate Vision Award is presented twice a year during ACAM’s spring and fall conferences. It is awarded to a company that takes an active interest in integrative medicine and offers products or services integral to physicians who practice integrative medicine.
Standard Process is devoted to optimizing healthcare and wellness for patients by teaching healthcare professionals how to integrate nutritional whole food supplements into complementary and conventional health care practices.
To spread the word, Standard Process partners with associations and organizations to raise awareness of nutrition and complementary practices, and is involved in public awareness campaigns, educational events, seminars, and workshops. In 2009 alone, Standard Process donated or committed more than $3 million for the growth and development of complementary practices.
The award was presented during the April 24 luncheon, attended by ACAM members and supporters. Sally Rosa, Standard Process event coordinator, accepted the award on behalf of the company.
