August 4, 2008 — Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCU) President Ronald Kraft, PhD, has announced the appointment of J. Todd Knudsen, DC, DACBR as the dean of the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic (LACC).

John Scaringe, SCU’s vice president of Academic Affairs said, “Dr. Knudsen has a reputation as a supportive and fair leader. We are fortunate that Dr. Knudsen has chosen to serve LACC as dean and to continue to make a difference in chiropractic and healthcare education.”

Knudsen has been serving in the interim dean role at LACC since November 2006. He has been with SCU for five years as the chair of the Diagnosis Department and the director of the Diagnostic Imaging Residency Program. Prior to coming to SCU, Knudsen was the director of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at National University of Health Sciences for eight years.
