SCU alumni named to 2008 Olympic medical staff

Chiropractic Economics July 17, 2008

July 17, 2008 — Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCU) alumni Michael Reed, DC, and Amor Adams, DC, have been selected by the US Olympic Committee (USOC) to serve on the 62-member medical staff that will support U.S. athletes in Beijing, China, at the 2008 Olympic Games.

The competitions will take place Aug. 8 – 24. The medical team is a multidisciplinary group of medical doctors, certified athletic trainers, doctors of chiropractic, and massage therapists.
Both Adams and Reed will be assigned to treat and coordinate care for athletes at the USOC High Performance Training Center (HPTC) at Beijing Normal University.
