August 16, 2013 — The Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP) announced that ScripHessco has donated $15,000 to the chiropractic campaign. In total, ScripHessco has donated $50,000, which will help to advance public knowledge of chiropractic care by way of positive press.
ScripHessco is a division of Scrip Companies, a leading specialty distributor to the chiropractic, massage therapy, spa, physical therapy, and home health and wellness markets.
“It is a privilege to support the F4CP and its mission to promote the profession,” shares Earl DeCarli, president and CEO of Scrip Companies and a board member of F4CP. “As members of the chiropractic community, we are directly impacted by the positive press campaign, and the entire Scrip team is committed to supporting the foundation in its continuing efforts to raise the public’s awareness of the tremendous value of chiropractic care.”
The F4CP campaign — which generated more than 31 billion positive media impressions in 2012 — spans press releases, advertorials, advertisements, public service announcements, white papers, and sponsored presentations to the employer community. Unlike other national not-for-profits, all donations received are used exclusively to fund public relations activities.
Kent S. Greenawalt, chairman, F4CP, emphasizes the importance of widespread campaign support: “We are exceedingly grateful that ScripHessco is a proud partner of the F4CP. It is critical that more organizations demonstrate a comparable commitment to chiropractic, to ensure long-term success of the campaign and profession.”
