August 17, 2010 — The American Association of Integrative Medicine, along with its sister organizations, announced the lineup of speakers at its 2010 National Conference. This annual event will be held Sept. 22–24 in Orlando, Fla.
The 2010 National Conference will showcase more than 100 speakers who have expertise in various aspects of medicine, forensics, psychotherapy, and homeland security. Keynote Presenters include Governor Tom Ridge, former first secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security; Dr. Henry Lee, world-renowned forensic scientist and Chief Emeritus of the Connecticut State Police; Dr. Daniel Kirsch, neurobiologist and inventor of Alpha-Stim technology; Dr. Cyril Wecht, the country’s leading forensic pathologist and a nationally acclaimed forensic expert; and Dr. Zhaoming Chen, neurologist, acupuncturist, and integrative medicine pioneer.
The premiere event for healthcare professionals, the American Association of Integrative Medicine’s (AAIM) 2010 conference will be held in conjunction with its sister organizations — the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute (ACFEI), the American Psychotherapy Association (APA) and the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security (ABCHS).
The event is open to practitioners of all types of alternative medicine, as well as providers of complementary therapies and traditional medicine. Hundreds of healthcare professionals from all over the world are expected to attend this three-day event, and will learn about such diverse topics as integrative sleep medicine, allopathic versus complementary therapies, art therapy, how to naturally prevent and reverse cardiovascular disease, alternative treatments for ADD/ADHD, holistic healing, healing oils, dietary supplements, and psychophysiological disorders.
