June 19, 2018 – In a ranking list compiled by Best College Reviews, Life University’s (LIFE’s) Master of Science in Positive Psychology online degree program ranked fifth best for 2018 out of all online psychology master’s degree programs in the country.
This ranking was created using the National Center for Education Statistics’ College Navigator database. The top 25 online master’s in psychology programs were ranked based on the criteria of tuition, customization options and what the Center calls the “Wow” factor.
Many careers in psychology require a minimum of a master’s degree, and online master’s psychology programs are increasing in popularity as a way to meet this requirement. LIFE’s online psychology program provides students with a convenient way to earn the credentials they need, while still holding down a fulltime job or fulfilling other obligations.
LIFE launched its Master’s degree program in Positive Psychology in the fall of 2014. The program has three concentrations for students to choose from, with two (Coaching Psychology, General) being offered online and one offered on campus (Secular Ethics and Contemplative Science). As of Spring Quarter 2018, 51 students were enrolled in the M.S. Positive Psychology program, and it has conferred 42 degrees since its inception.
“With this, our extremely high ranking, we are once again assured of the benefits that our online Master’s in Positive Psychology degree from Life University provides. We encourage prospective students to research other institutions’ psychology degree offerings to see for themselves just how advantageous a LIFE Positive Psychology degree is,” notes Dr. Jana Holwick, LIFE’s Dean of College of Graduate and Undergraduate Studies.
