Parker University holds 100th commencement ceremony

Chiropractic Economics December 28, 2018

To honor the special day, eight alumni from Parker’s charter class of 1985 were recognized and honored at the ceremony. In attendance were Dr. John Osborne, Dr. Kurt Adams, Dr. Tim Benner, Dr. Walter Parish, Dr. Catherine McGuire, Dr. Rick Enlow, Dr. David Bradley, and Dr. David Phipps.

DALLAS – On December 8, 2018, Parker University held its 100th commencement ceremony for its College of Chiropractic at Irving Bible Church, 2435 Kinwest Pkwy, Irving, Texas 75063. This ceremony marked the 7,309th student to walk across the graduation stage.

Making the event even more special, Parker University invited back the original 18 graduates of Parker College of Chiropractic from the Class of 1985 to be a part of the ceremony. There was also a special tribute to the founder of Parker University, Dr. James W. Parker, Sr. A special award was presented to his son, and Vice President of the Alumni Association, Dr. James W. Parker, Jr.

The past Parker University presidents were invited to join current President, Dr. William Morgan at the ceremony.

• Dr. G. Edward Lessard: 1980-1982 (Yardley, Pa.)
• Dr. M.T. “Ted” Morter, Jr.: 1982-1984 (passed May 2013)
• Dr. James Parker – Founder: 1984-1996 (passed November 1997)
• Dr. W. Karl Parker: 1996-1998 (passed December 2009)
• Dr. Fabrizio Mancini: 1999-2012 (Dallas)
• Dr. Brian J. McAulay: 2013-2016 (Dallas)
• Dr. William E. Morgan: 2016-present (Dallas)
