Parker Alumni Association reaches 200 lifetime member milestone

Chiropractic Economics October 7, 2010

October 7, 2010 — Parker College of Chiropractic held a homecoming and class reunion reception during Parker Seminars Dallas where they recognized Parker Alumni Association Lifetime Members for their recent achievement in reaching 200 members.

Parker thanked each lifetime member for their continual support of Parker College’s Alumni Association. Helping to achieve the milestone, Dr. EJ Raven received special recognition for becoming the 200th member.

One of the alumni association’s biggest achievements is the Alumni Association Endowment Fund Scholarship, funded by all lifetime members, which has been awarding Parker students with scholarships each year.

The Alumni Association Endowment Fund has given more than 19,000 dollars in scholarship funds to students. One-hundred percent of the lifetime membership fee is contributed to the endowment fund for scholarships. Nearly 10 percent of association members are not graduates of Parker, but believe in the work the association is doing.

Each lifetime member has received a personalized lifetime member plaque and their name will be engraved on the on-campus plaque. Additionally, each member receives a lapel pin to recognize their contributions to the Parker Alumni Association.
