P.R.O.O.F. Preferred to offer range-of-motion testing

Chiropractic Economics Staff July 16, 2012

12July 16, 2012 — Range of motion (ROM) and muscle testing are critical to developing treatment plans. And insurance reimbursement depends on providing accurate reports that demonstrate need for care and document improvement objectively.

It is time-consuming to perform those tests and record the results manually. But with P.R.O.O.F. Preferred, you may be able to reduce the entire process — both testing and reporting — to an average 60 to 90 seconds.
Proof Preferred Range Of Motion Lite consists of a wireless dual inclinometer and two clear and concise session reports — comparing each test date with one another.

ROM Lite is marketed as a dynamic, report-driven wireless ROM testing system. It automatically creates two types of session reports that can be used for insurance reimbursement as well as patient education. These reports compare all of the test visits by a specific patient and calculate improvement over time, automatically. It also compares to the AMA guidelines and calculates limitation.

Proof Preferred can also be used to show medical necessity and prove the need for care and continuing care. P.R.O.O.F offers more than 50 predefined ROM tests including the extremities.
