NUHS opens new Chicago clinic

Chiropractic Economics August 12, 2008

August 12, 2008 — National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) officials cut the ribbon at opening ceremonies for its new NUHS Whole Health Center — Chicago.  The new 2,800 square-foot health and wellness center is located in the University Village Marketplace near downtown Chicago.

The new NUHS Whole Health Center in Chicago will offer chiropractic, oriental and natural medicine, massage therapy, radiology, lab services, and physical rehabilitation as well as nutritional guidance and supplements.

For over 100 years, National University of Health Sciences has set standards of excellence and professionalism in both patient care and in offering advanced degrees in chiropractic and natural medicine.

The clinic opening comes on the heels of NUHS closing its Chicago General Health Service clinic, which had enjoyed a long history of serving community health needs since 1925.  The move to a more modern facility with seven treatment rooms, digital radiography, clinical laboratory facilities, and conference area for student and group meetings, promises to bring care to a larger number of Chicago residents.

The NUHS Whole Health Center in Chicago is staffed by two chiropractic physicians, Drs. Brian Miller and Sam Battaglia along with six NUHS chiropractic interns.

“In our ongoing efforts to provide all patients with the highest quality of chiropractic care, we’ve increased the number of insurance plans we accept and also offer financial assistance to those who qualify,” says Dr. Brian Miller.
