April 17, 2013 — The College of Chiropractic at Northwestern Health Sciences University presented Doctor of Chiropractic degrees to 44 students at a commencement ceremony April 12, 2013. Of the graduates, 17 also received a Bachelor of Science degree, and six of the students graduated with honors.
Michael Wiles, DC, interim president and provost, gave the presidential greeting, and graduating student Aaron Peterson delivered the student address. The commencement speaker was Northwestern graduate Jim Abeler, a Minnesota State Representative.
Christina Aamold was the class valedictorian, and graduating students came from eight states and one Canadian province. The ceremony was held in the auditorium at Northwestern.
