Jessica Irons, PhD, has joined the EMBODI Scientific Advisory Board, helping reinforce the software company’s commitment to evidence-based strategies that enhance patient engagement, retention and care plan adherence.
Irons, who holds a PhD from Auburn University, brings to the role extensive research experience in behavioral health interventions. A professor of psychology at James Madison University, she has published more than 48 studies and has 660+ citations, all in the field of patient adherence and behavior modification.
She is an expert in clinical trials and behavioral research, focusing on health outcomes in real-world applications, and has conducted randomized clinical trials, behavioral research and qualitative studies aimed at improving patient adherence and decision-making. Irons has collaborated with experts across various health domains and will bring data-driven insights to EMBODI’s digital health solutions.
