New book for chiropractors to ethically navigate personal injury claims

Chiropractic Economics Staff September 23, 2022

‘The Intelligent Chiropractor’s Guide to Survival’ Provides Answers to Misconceptions in the Field, Unique Trade Tips, and Ready-To-Use Tools to Diversify the Chiropractic Practice

Having practiced personal injury (PI) law and providing continuing education in California for over 35 years combined, Shawn Steel and Alexander Eisner of Shawn Steel Law Firm release insider guide for chiropractors who are looking to start or expand the PI side of their business.

Landing a number one spot on the Chiropractic and Personal Injury Law Amazon Best Seller lists, “The Intelligent Chiropractor’s Guide to Survival” gives chiropractors a resource to learn about the legal framework surrounding PI cases. Book topics include MedPay claims, the importance of new patient screening, and treatment limits.

“I want chiropractors to come away from this book feeling like it cleared up a lot of misconceptions about the field,” states Steel. “They will feel as though they now have access to a concise how-to guide for navigating the PI field in a fun, ethical and profitable way.”

Known for their reputation as the go-to attorneys for PI referrals in the California chiropractic community, Steel and Eisner continuously share their expertise with chiropractors on how to navigate the system and advocate for themselves as contracted professionals.

“Our goal for this book is to synthesize what we know and what we’ve been teaching into an easily digestible book
and then disseminate it to the people who need it,” said Eisner.

In the ever-evolving PI landscape, the best selling book serves as an invaluable tool for improving or increasing workflow for chiropractors. Guide also includes forwards from Carl S. Cleveland III, president of Cleveland University – Kansas City College of Chiropractic and College of Health Sciences, and Sam Collins, coding and billing expert at HJ Ross Company.
