The ACA is offering activities and resources to create a buzz about chiropractic this October.
October 6, 2014 — With National Chiropractic Health Month (NCHM) underway, the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) is encouraging DCs, CAs, and doctoral students to participate in fun social media activities throughout October to help raise awareness of chiropractic services.
This year, you can use a range of resources in the NCHM toolkit, www.acatoday.org/NCHM (including videos, infographics, and sample Facebook posts), to share information about chiropractic’s “conservative-care-first” approach to healthcare and why it is especially significant for today’s consumers.
As part of the observance, ACA also encourages everyone to consider one or more of the following:
- Post a photo on your Instagram or Facebook that defines being healthy to you, whether it be a green smoothie or a selfie of you post-run.
- Print our “We Love DCs” or “I Love Being a DC” signs to pose with in a photograph on your Facebook or Instagram account to show your pride in the chiropractic profession.
- Use new “Key Facts” about the chiropractic profession to articulate concise, repeatable sound bites about DC clinical effectiveness and high patient satisfaction.
and tag us at @acatoday.
Oct. 15 is Social Media Share Day. ACA will post items related to “Conservative Care First!” on its Facebook throughout the day. To magnify the message, we challenge everyone to share these posts with their friends and fans, too.
Hosted by ACA, National Chiropractic Health Month is a nationwide observance held each October. The event helps raise public awareness of the benefits of chiropractic care and its natural, whole-person, patient-centered approach to health and wellness.
