The MEDRAY S.T.A.R. (Stationary Therapeutic Application of Radiance) hands-free Class IV laser system from Accuflex Tables & Lasers has been granted patent pending status by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

“This means the special treatment protocols, cart, and the delivery system cannot be used, duplicated, or promoted without violation or permission from Accuflex Tables & Lasers,” says Dr. Gary Huddleston, owner of Accuflex Tables & Lasers. “The S.T.A.R. hands-free system has been extremely popular with doctors purchasing not one, but two or three units, and this gives them the protection they need from other companies or doctors trying to use the S.T.A.R. system illegally or worse yet, without the fabulous safety protocols built into the S.T.A.R. system.”

Accuflex Tables & Lasers introduced the affordable MEDRAY S.T.A.R. system, which takes the MEDRAY QUAD, DUAL, and T3 Class IV laser systems into a new and affordable realm of hands-free treatment. MEDRAY lasers come with proprietary software that has been designed for the MEDRAY brand that will allow doctors to set-up a treatment in just a minute or so using the S.T.A.R. protocols and hardware, and then walk away “hands free” to treat other patients, all while the best laser therapy is being administered easily and painlessly.

S.T.A.R. software should only be used with S.T.A.R. hardware and doesn’t need to be edited or changed as the presets have been especially designed to work with the system.

The S.T.A.R. difference

The complete hardware kit consists of a custom-made flex arm, all hardware, cable guides, brackets, adjustable billet aluminum emitter holder and our new S.T.A.R. clamp that allows you to clamp the system to your existing cart or table. The whole assembly procedure takes less than five minutes, and once done doesn’t have to be repeated.

The system even comes with a wireless patient stop switch for the ultimate in convenience. The final piece of the S.T.A.R. system is the billet aluminum headpiece featuring a precision ground glass lens that makes the whole system compatible. You simply unscrew the end off the MEDRAY emitter and screw the optical headpiece on, then lock the emitter in the emitter holder and you’re ready to go.
