Logan University - Leaders Made logoOn May 23, Logan University announced it has partnered with Grambling State University in Grambling, Louisiana, on an articulation agreement that establishes a new 3+3 dual-degree, pre-chiropractic program between the two institutions.

The program makes it possible for qualified students to earn both a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Grambling State and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan’s College of Chiropractic in just six years, one year less than the traditional academic study required by a Doctor of Chiropractic degree program.

“We are thrilled to offer the Doctor of Chiropractic degree pathway to Grambling State University students,” Logan President Clay McDonald, DC, MBA, JD, said. “These students share a common goal with Logan students: to become leaders in conservative health care. Anytime we can create a partnership that will save them both money and time in obtaining their undergraduate and graduate degrees is a win-win,” he said.

“This agreement is a great example of how partnering can support new levels of student achievement,” said Grambling State University President Rick Gallot. “We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with Logan University on creating new career opportunities for our graduates.”

Under the provisions of this 3+3 program, qualified students must successfully complete 90 hours of required coursework in Grambling State’s undergraduate biology degree program and will then be eligible for admission into the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Logan University. After completing the final three years of required coursework at Logan University, students will graduate with both Doctor of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Biology degrees.
