Chiropractic Economics Staff August 6, 2014

08.06.14_Logan_OReillyAugust 6, 2014 — Kimberly Paddock-O’Reilly, DHEd, MSW, has been named Logan University’s vice president of academic affairs. In this position, O’Reilly will oversee compliance matters, university accreditation, and the management of Logan’s academic degree programs.

“I am humbled and energized at the opportunity to work at Logan,” she said. “I appreciate the administration’s drive, initiative, and leadership, and look forward to serving to the best of my abilities.”

O’Reilly began her career in the areas of social work and counseling, which evolved into teaching, curriculum development, faculty training, and strategic planning. She spent the last 10 years in higher education, primarily at health science institutions, where she was responsible for increasing student enrollment and satisfaction, as well as leading strategic initiatives for quality improvement. She most recently served as associate vice president of new programs and professor for Salem International University in West Virginia.

O’Reilly holds a psychology degree from Purdue University and a master’s degree in social work from Indiana University. After earning a doctorate of health education from A.T. Still University, she completed Harvard’s Institute for Management and Leadership in Education program.

“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. O’Reilly to Logan,” Logan President Clay McDonald, DC, MBA, JD, said. “She will keep us on track with hitting our strategic initiatives for program growth and reaccreditation over the next few years.”

Logan University is dedicated to maximizing human performance through innovative health education. Education is based on evidence-informed curriculum and immersive opportunities, ensuring Logan graduates can restore health and function to patients by leading in the integrated healthcare system.

Complementing the flagship doctor of chiropractic degree program, the College of Health Sciences offers accelerated undergraduate coursework, bachelor’s and master’s degrees, ranging from sports science and rehabilitation to nutrition and human performance.
