On Sept. 18, Logan University announced the promotion of three of its leaders: Kristina Petrocco-Napuli, DC, MS, DHPE, FICC, FACC; April Taylor, DBA, JD; and Deshae Redden, EdD, MA, PMP, CIC.
Napuli was promoted to the position of vice president of Logan’s College of Chiropractic; Taylor was promoted to vice president of Logan’s College of Health Sciences and Student Affairs; and Redden was promoted to assistant vice president of operational excellence, planning and learning, noted a Logan University press release.
“Dr. Petrocco-Napuli, Dr. Taylor and Dr. Redden have visions for academic and operational excellence that align with Logan’s mission to cultivate a dynamic learning environment and advance our position as a whole healthcare provider,” said Logan University President Clay McDonald, DC, MBA, JD. “We congratulate them on their well-deserved promotions and look forward to their continued leadership and contributions to our university.”

Napuli, promoted to vice president of the College of Chiropractic, has been a pivotal part of Logan’s academic community, demonstrating exceptional leadership in curriculum development and faculty engagement in all facets of the College of Chiropractic. In her new role, she will also oversee the operations of the Office of the Registrar.
April Taylor, DBA, JD
The contributions and leadership of Taylor, promoted to vice president of the College of Health Sciences and Student Affairs, have made the College of Health Sciences continue to position Logan as a leader and provider of health sciences education through online platforms. Taylor will also oversee the Office of Student Affairs, which provides and enhances opportunities for Logan student success.
Deshae Redden, EdD, MA, PMP, CIC
Redden, promoted to assistant vice president of operational excellence, planning and learning, serves a key function crucial to the success of Logan through strategies, systems and tools using Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI). With Logan’s newly established Center for Learning and Leadership, Redden will ensure the implementation of innovative programs aimed at preparing students to have positive impacts both inside and outside the university.
